3、In your large bowl or bucket, mix together all of the dye colors you want to use. I used blue, green, and purple dye, but you can use any colors you like.
4、Next, add enough water to make the dye mixture as thin as you want it. This will determine how strong the color will be on the ties.
5、Now, it’s time to start tying! Take one tie at a time and tie it into a knot. Then, dip the tied knot into the dye mixture and let it soak for about 30 seconds. Remove it from the dye and let it dry.
6、Repeat this process for all of the ties you are using. Once they are all tied and dyed, you can let them all hang out to dry together.
7、Once the toys are completely dry, you can start playing with them! My kids loved them so much that they played with them for hours.
This tie-dye toy project was not only fun but also educational. It allowed my kids to experiment with color mixing and see how different colors blend together. They also learned about pattern making as they tied the knots in different ways to create unique patterns on the toys.
