Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a young man named John. He was about to embark on his first day at a new job as a corporate executive. He had been given a dress code that required him to wear a tie, but he knew nothing about how to properly tie one.

John was feeling nervous and unprepared for his new job. He didn’t want to embarrass himself or his company by showing up with a poorly tied tie. So, he decided to seek help from the only person he knew who knew how to tie a tie properly: his grandfather.

John’s grandfather, Bob, was an old and wise man. He had served in the military and had seen many changes in the world over the years. But he always managed to stay calm and composed, no matter what the situation was.

When John asked Bob to help him tie a tie, Bob laughed and said, “Son, you’ve come to the right place. I can show you how to do it properly.”

Bob took John to the dressing room and tied a tie around his neck. Then he said, “Now, watch carefully how I do it.” Bob demonstrated the steps slowly and carefully, explaining each move as he went along.

“First, you take the long end of the tie and cross it over the short end,” Bob said. “Then you bring the long end back around and cross it under the short end.”

John watched intently, taking notes and watching for any mistakes he might make later on. “Now, try it yourself,” Bob said, handing John the tie.

With trembling hands, John took the tie and began to tie it around his neck. He followed the steps that Bob had shown him and managed to get it tied properly. “You did it!” Bob said, patting John on the back. “That wasn’t so hard, was it?”

John shook his head and said, “No, it wasn’t so hard at all. I just needed someone to show me how to do it.”

The next day, John showed up at his new job with a well-tied tie. He felt confident and ready to face any challenges that came his way. And he knew that he could always count on his grandfather to help him out if he needed it again.
