The Graduation Tie of My Boyfriend
My boyfriend graduated from high school last month, and I was so proud of his achievement. He worked so hard for this moment, and I knew he was going to do well. The graduation tie he wore was a deep blue color, with a thin gold stripe down the middle. It looked so sharp and smart on him.He felt nervous before the ceremony, but I knew he was ready. When the principal announced his name, he walked up to the stage confidently and received his diploma. He looked at me with a pleading expression and I knew he was going to ask me to help him fix it. I quietly went backstage and found a small scissors in my purse. I carefully cut the tie a little bit at a time until it was loose enough for my boyfriend to be comfortable. He looked at me with such relief that I knew I had done the right thing.
The ceremony was over soon after that, and my boyfriend and I were able to relax and enjoy the rest of the day. He said that his graduation tie was the most uncomfortable thing he had ever worn, but he was so grateful that I had helped him fix it. We laughed about it for days afterwards, and it became a running joke between us.
My boyfriend's graduation tie may have caused him some discomfort, but it also brought us closer together as a couple. We learned how to work together to solve problems, and our relationship grew stronger because of it.
