It is also a story about the power of friendship and hope, and how these things can help people to become stronger and more resilient.
Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a proud and arrogant master who owned a large estate. He wore a grand collar that signified his high status and power. His slaves, however, were treated cruelly and were expected to work hard for their master’s benefit.
One day, the master’s collar became loose and he felt uncomfortable wearing it. He called for his slaves to fix it, but they were all busy working in the fields. The master became impatient and ordered one of the slaves to come immediately to fix the collar. The slave, named David, was a young and intelligent man who had been working for the master for many years. He knew that the master was not satisfied with the collar, but he also knew that he could not fix it himself.
David thought for a moment and then said, “Master, I am not skilled enough to fix the collar. But I can try to find someone who can do it.” The master agreed and David left to find a tailor who could fix the collar.
After some time, David returned with a skilled tailor. The tailor examined the collar and said, “This collar is made of high-quality material and the stitching is very good. It will take some time to fix it properly.” The master nodded and said, “Take your time, but make sure you do a good job.”
While the tailor was working on the collar, David took the opportunity to speak with him. “Tailor,” he said, “I have been working for my master for many years and he treats us slaves very cruelly. I wish there was a way we could be free from our chains.”
The tailor looked at David and said, “I understand your pain, but I cannot help you directly. However, I can tell you that there is a way to gain freedom. It is not easy, but it is possible.”
As the days passed, the collar was slowly being repaired. The master was pleased with the progress and David was beginning to hope that they might gain some freedom from their slavery.
One day, while the master was away from the house, David and the other slaves gathered together to discuss their future. They knew that they could not rely on their master for their freedom, so they decided to take matters into their own hands. They planned an escape to a nearby village where they could seek help from people who might be able to assist them in their journey to freedom.
As the slaves were preparing for their escape, David noticed that the collar had been repaired and was now in its original condition. He knew that they could not risk being seen wearing it, so he suggested that they hide it somewhere safe until they were ready to use it as a weapon or evidence of their slavery.
The slaves agreed and David found a small hiding place where they could store the collar safely. They continued with their preparations for the escape and were ready to leave at any moment.
As they were about to leave, however, the master returned early from his trip and discovered their plan. He immediately ordered his slaves to return to their work and threatened them with severe punishment if they tried to escape again. The slaves were frightened and returned to their duties, but they knew that they could not stay in slavery forever.
Days passed and the slaves continued to plot their escape. They were careful not to be seen wearing the collar or engaging in any suspicious activities that could alert their master. Finally, one night, they took their chance and escaped from the house using their hidden collar as evidence of their slavery. They ran through the dark forest, dodging trees and falling branches until they reached the safety of the nearby village where they sought refuge from their cruel master forevermore!
