She hesitated for a moment, then decided to ask for permission to go to the doctor.
She walked up to her teacher, Mr. Smith, and said softly, "Mr. Smith, I'm feeling unwell. Could I please go to the doctor?" Mr. Smith looked at her carefully and said, "Lily, I noticed you're wearing a different color tie today. Is that why you're feeling unwell?" Lily nodded and said, "Yes, I think so. I've been feeling this way all day."
Mr. Smith immediately understood what was going on. He said, "Lily, you should definitely go to the doctor. I'll call your parents and let them know what's happening." Lily thanked him and walked away with her hand on her forehead. She felt much better now that she had taken the first step to get help.
As Lily walked through the school gates, she felt the warm sun shining on her face and the gentle breeze blowing through her hair. She knew that she was going to be okay no matter what happened. She had taken a risk by asking for permission to go to the doctor, but it was worth it because she felt so much better now that she had done something about her health problem.
Lily arrived at the doctor's office a few minutes later and explained what had been happening to her. The doctor listened carefully and said, "Lily, you have a fever and your throat is also infected with bacteria. I'll give you some medicine to take care of it." Lily nodded and said, "Thank you, Doctor." She took the medicine with a glass of water and felt much better immediately.
As Lily left the doctor's office, she felt stronger and more confident than she had in days. She knew that she had taken the right decision to ask for permission to go to the doctor and that she would be able to get back to school soon and continue with her studies without any further problems with her health or attendance record in class due to sick days off school in this way too!
